Offering a fascinating insight into the world of wine production, Domaine Chandon's tour is one of the most outstanding wine-tourism experiences in the world. Guests can see winemaking in progress, visiting the barrel cellar and the riddling hall.
Stunning photography and informative notes - available in English, French, German, Japanese and Cantonese - explain each step in the process.
The tour concludes in the Green Point Room, where guests can enjoy Domaine Chandon's premium sparkling and still wines by the glass.
Free guided tours are conducted three times daily - at 11am, 1pm and 3pm - and run for 30 minutes.

The Tour Route
Learn all about the winemaking process in an entertaining and informative way on a tour that reinforces Domaine Chandon's position as a world-class wine tourism destination.
The tour route offers unrivalled exposure to a world-class winery at work, with impressive graphic displays and engaging panoramic story panels, which reflect the company's diversity in wine production and give detailed process and production information.
Featuring photography of Domaine Chandon's Yarra Valley property and its Strathbogie vineyard, the tour also outlines Domaine Chandon's impressive history.
The winery was established by French champagne house Moët & Chandon in 1986 and is dedicated to the production of méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine and premium quality, cool-climate still Victorian wines.

Twilight Hours at Chandon
Domaine Chandon, along with some of the Yarra Valley's finest wineries, invites you to experience twilight at its breathtaking best this summer.
Throughout January and February 2012, Domaine Chandon will be matching wines by the glass with a selection of antipasto and cheese platters, as well as offering range tastings and Chandon cocktails in the exquisite new Greenpoint Bar as the sun goes down.
Witness the magic of twilight in one of Victoria’s most spectacular locations while sipping on a signature méthode traditionnelle sparkling wine from Domaine Chandon’s exclusive cellars– the perfect beginning to the New Year.
Other participating wineries (including Oakridge, Punt Road, Medhurst, Seville Estate, Whispering Hills, Mandala and De Bortoli) will also be extending their opening hours until 8pm every Friday and Saturday night from 6 January through to 25 February.
Yarra Valley Transfers will offer a transfer bus service between the wineries and the towns of Yarra Glen and Healesville so that everyone can enjoy a hassle-free evening in the valley.

Paying homage to our French heritage, Chandon invites you to La Vie en Rosé – a sparkling high tea dedicated to indulging your sweet tooth.
Set in and around our historic homestead, enjoy an afternoon of sweet delights, infused with and matched to our finest bubbles.
This unashamedly decadent afternoon also provides a rare opportunity to meet Chandon’s winemakers and in-house chef as they explain the art of matching sparkling wines to all things sweet.

Sunday School
Domaine Chandon offers a two-hour "wine discovery" class designed to give both beginners and wine enthusiasts the chance to experience the wine behind the wines.
With a maximum of twelve people in each class, Sunday School is held at the Historic Homestead at Domaine Chandon and gives guests an intimate opportunity to celebrate premium wines.
Guests learn how to taste wine properly and explore how chardonnay and pinot noir work to influence the taste of sparkling and still wines. They take a behind-the-scenes tour to see how sparkling wine is made, from the vine to the bottle, and taste wines in progress.
