With a particularly warm season for its cool climate and an early harvest, the carefully selected grapes from the Tamar Valley developed rich fruit flavors while preserving their characteristic crisp acidity.

Our Terroir Tasmania 2018 presents distinct notes of oyster shell, kumquat, and citrus – indicative of its Chardonnay dominance. On the nose, it has beautiful aromas of fresh sourdough and brioche, a testament to its 4 years on lees. On the palate, the wine reveals itself as tight and sharp with pronounced lime and citrusy notes that dance alongside a salty minerality reminiscent of the sea. Its bright freshness, perfect balance and remarkable length make it truly unique.

We source grapes from vineyards around Victoria, with very limited parcels of fruit coming from Tasmania. To see a single-vineyard sparkling wine using exclusively Tasmanian fruit is a rarity for us, so this release is extremely special and limited.
