An unforgettable night
On a wintry August evening, our atmospheric Riddling Hall was awash of red and pink, with evocative lighting and one long striking table adorned with soft pink blossoms and a strip of dramatic pink neon.
Our members, looking a picture in their finery, enjoyed an exclusive pre-release “unveiling” party of limited-release sparklings and late-disgorged treasures, including our Whitlands Plateau Blanc de Blancs 2013, Late Disgorged Blanc de Blancs 2006, Cygnet Pinot Meunier Rosé 2014 and Late Disgorged 2006.
Members were treated to a private performance by the incomparably talented actress and singer, Bernadette Robinson. One of Australia’s greatest play writers, Joanna Murray-Smith, wrote a one-woman show for the Melbourne Theatre Company entitled “Songs for Nobodies” for, and because of, Bernadette Robinson and her spinetingling ability to channel the voices and souls of the great divas of yesteryear. Our cavernous Riddling Hall was the perfect space in which to showcase Bernadette’s skill and charisma, and she duly received a standing ovation for her spectacular performance.
Thank you to our members and friends for trekking out to the Valley to share in the magic of Chandon!
