WE'RE HERE TO HELP

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

Can I buy a gift voucher at Chandon?

We certainly have gift vouchers - you can purchase a Chandon Experience Voucher online and have it mailed to you, or directly to the recipient. Chandon Experience Vouchers can be used for any winery experience including tasting, dining, and retail purchases at the cellar door. They cannot be used to shop online, and cannot be emailed.

Chandon Experience Vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase.

Do you host weddings at Chandon?

Unfortunately, we are unable to host wedding functions at the winery as we do not have the appropriate facilities, nor do we allow photography on the grounds.

We recommend a venue called 'Stones of the Yarra Valley', who share similar views over the Yarra Ranges. They are set up to cater for weddings and functions of all sizes, they even have a chapel on-site.  Stones can be contacted on 03 8727 3000 or at www.stonesoftheyarravalley.com

However, if you just need bubbles for your wedding, you’ve come to the right place! You can shop online or at our cellar door.

Do you have a public holiday surcharge?

We have a 15% surcharge on public holidays. The charge will only apply to food and beverages consumed on site and will not apply to retail sales.

Do you host Hens Parties / Bridal Showers at Chandon?

Hens Parties / Bridal Showers are welcome to book any of the experiences we have available provided they aren’t themed, costumed, or decorated in any way. We can accommodate groups in the mornings, dependent on availability.

I’d like to propose to my partner at Chandon, can you help me manage this?

Due to the busyness of the winery, staff are not able to facilitate private proposals. However, Chandon has lovely grounds and you are very welcome to propose while on-site in any of the spaces available to the public. Please note that entering the vineyards is strictly forbidden.

Can I take photographs, film or use a drone on-site at Chandon?

Photography for Engagements, Pre-wedding, Weddings, Debutantes, and School Formals is not permitted on-site under any circumstances. Use of personal drones on-site is also strictly forbidden.

Editorial and commercial photography, filming and drone requests will be considered, please contact enquiries@domainechandon.com.au.

What facilities do you have for children?

While our cellar door is more suited for a grown up crowd, children are welcome at Chandon if supervised at all times. The disabled bathroom has a change table for babies, and we offer a limited kids' menu in the Restaurant and Lounge Bar.

Can I bring by dog to Chandon?

For the enjoyment of all guests, pets are not permitted in any part of our cellar door.

Do you offer winery tours?

While we do not have a wine tour, we do offer a range of dining and tasting experiences you can view online here.

Are you open in the evening for dinner service?

We are not open in the evenings. Daily we open from 11am - 4.30pm, which is when you get the best views of the Yarra Valley.  Evening functions are by enquiry only, you can download our function packages online here.

What kind of transport options are available?

Taxis and ride share services have limited availability in the Yarra Valley, so it's highly recommended to pre-book your transport. Chandon is not accessible by public transport. The nearest train station is Lilydale.
