To celebrate the launch of Pique-Nique at Domaine Chandon, we invited some special guests to experience a taste of the new picnic concept.
Upon arrival, guests were treated to a glass of summer favourite, Chandon S upon and were welcomed onto the newly renamed Pique-Nique lawn - one of the most picturesque spaces at the winery that overlooks the lush vineyards and surrounding Yarra Ranges.
Executive Chef, Joshua Smyth, crafted a picnic-style sharing menu the included locally-made charcuterie, oysters, bread with house-made dips, fresh summer salads, Yarra Valley baked salmon and sweet treats such as bite-sized chocolate tarts and macarons. All the courses were served with Chandon sparkling wines carefully selected by our winemakers, including Chandon Vintage Brut 2015 and Chandon Vintage Brut Rose 2013 which will both be available on the Chandon Pique-Nique Lawn.
Pique-Nique at Domaine Chandon will be available in a similar style but a smaller-scale format on Saturdays and Sundays over the warmer months. Bookings are essential and can be made via the Chandon website or by calling 03 9738 9200.
