CLUB CHANDON TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By registering as a member of Domaine Chandon Australia’s (DCA) Club Chandon (the “Club”), you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Membership Requirements

1.1. Under Australian law, members of the Club must be 18 years of age or older.

2. Membership Commitment Details

2.1. Upon joining, the Club members will commit to one of the two membership tiers: Étoile or Petite Étoile.

2.2. Étoile members will receive a Club Selection of six 750ml bottles of Chandon sparkling wines delivered to the member’s nominated delivery address once every four months by paying $220 for each delivery (the “Club Payment”). The member will receive their first Club Selection during the month after the Membership Confirmation as defined in Clause 4.1. 

2.3. Petite Étoile members will receive a Club Selection of three 750ml bottles of Chandon sparkling wines delivered to the member’s nominated delivery address once every three months by paying $110 for each delivery (also known as the “Club Payment”). The member will receive their first Club Selection during the month after the Membership Confirmation as defined in Clause 4.1.

2.4. The choice of wine for a Club Selection will be carefully picked by DCA at its sole discretion.

2.5. Club members may defer or cancel their membership according to Clause 8 below. 

3. Membership Benefits

Membership Benefits applicable to all members:

3.1. Access to limited-edition wines (while stock last), exclusive offers, sales, and discounts.

3.2. Member-only event invitations and VIP experiences.

3.3. Free shipping within Australia on all orders that include wine.

3.4. A 15% discount at the DCA Cellar Door and Online Store on the original price of Chandon retail wine and Chandon branded merchandise. 

3.5. A 10% discount on food, beverage, and tasting experiences at the DCA Cellar Door for the member and up to 11 guests.

Membership Benefits exclusive to Étoile Club Members:

3.6. A complimentary flute of sparkling wine once per month for the member and one guest upon visiting the DCA Cellar Door.

4. Membership Benefits Rules & Restrictions

The aforementioned Membership Benefits are subject to the following rules and restrictions:

4.1. Member’s entitlement to membership benefits shall only commence from the date of membership confirmation email (‘Membership Confirmation”) sent by DCA to the Club member. Membership benefits will continue unless the Club membership is deferred or cancelled in accordance with Clause 8. 

4.2. Membership benefits are personal to the Club Member and shall not be transferred, exchanged or otherwise utilised for commercial gain.

4.3. All Membership benefits will be suspended immediately in the event that any Club Payment is outstanding, whether due to the invalidity of the credit card or for any other reason that causes the deferral of membership as per Clause 8.2.

4.4. The 15% discount at the DCA Cellar Door and Online Store on the original price of all Chandon retail wine and Chandon branded merchandise items unless otherwise stated in writing at the point of purchase.

4.5. The 10% discount at the DCA Cellar Door on food, beverage, and experiences is available in all dining areas, however this benefit cannot be used in conjunction with other DCA food, beverage or experience promotions or discounts.

4.6. The 10% discount at the DCA Door on food, beverage and experiences cannot  be used for groups larger than 12 people.

4.7. Membership benefits are subject to change from time to time at the discretion of DCA. The most updated Terms and Conditions can be found on the www.chandon.com.au/clubterms.

5. Club Payment

5.1. By joining the Club, the member authorises DCA to debit their credit card with the Club Payment within the  month of dispatch of the Club Selection.

5.2. If the member’s registered credit card account is changed or expired, the member must provide updated details no later than five business days prior to the end of month preceding the next delivery of Club Selection.

5.3. If the member’s registered credit card account is invalid or expired, all membership benefits will be suspended until such time when valid credit card account details are provided.

6. Club Wines Shipping

6.1. DCA only dispatches Club wines to Australian residential addresses that are recognised as valid shipping addresses by Australia Post’s eParcel service.

6.2. Shipping is free for all Club members within Australia on all orders that include wine.

6.3. All shipping and delivery of Club wines shall follow the latest Australia Post terms and conditions on alcohol delivery. 

6.4. DCA is not responsible for any loss or damage caused to the Club wines after the shipment arrived under the custody of or during the delivery by Australia Post. 

6.5. It is the member’s obligation to notify DCA of any change to his/her shipping details in writing at club@domainechandon.com.au at least 5 working days prior to the end of month preceding the next delivery of Club Selection.

6.6. The member will be responsible for any additional shipping charges plus a 10% administrative fee for all returned and/or re-shipped packages due to the member’s failure to provide correct shipping details and/or their failure to collect their wine from the Post Office in accordance with the Australia Post policy. 

7. Club Selection 

7.1. Wine is a finite commodity. If a Club wine is unavailable at any time, it will be substituted by a wine of equal or no less than the value of the original choice of wine.

7.2. The selection of wines in all Club Selection is at the sole discretion of DCA.

7.3. Club Payment  is subject to change. Any such changes will be notified by email and the most updated Terms and Conditions will be found on www.chandon.com.au/clubterms.

8. Membership Deferral and Cancellation 

8.1. Club members can defer or cancel their membership at any time after their first 12 months   of membership. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged to the member for membership cancelled or deferred within the first 12 months of membership.

8.2. Membership deferral will temporarily suspend the Club Payments and the delivery of Club Selection for a maximum period of 12 months. All membership benefits will also be suspended during the period of deferral.

8.3. In order to apply for a deferral or cancellation prior to the next Club Payment, the member shall provide a written notification to DCA via email at club@domainechandon.com.au no later than five business days prior to the end of the month preceding the next delivery of Club Selection.

8.4. All member benefits will cease and any outstanding benefits are forfeited upon cancellation of membership. 

8.5. A membership will automatically continue unless written notification of cancellation or deferral is received by DCA according to Clause 8.3 above.  If no written notice of cancellation or deferral is received, a membership will deem to be ceased after three consecutive Club Payments have been declined or failed to be processed.

8.6. DCA reserves the right to terminate a Club membership or any Club member benefits at any time without notice.

9. Member Data Collection Information 

9.1. It is the member’s responsibility to ensure that the personal information provided on their Club member account  is accurate, complete and up to date. DCA is not responsible for changes made to the Club member account by the account holder and/ or any other persons with the account holder’s access details. 

9.2. Requests made to DCA to update member details must be made in writing. 

9.3. In line with the preferences and consent provided by the Club members, DCA will only use personal information provided on the Club application form to send Club wine purchases and winery news that may be of interest to the member, such as, but not limited to, tastings, exclusive offers, events, and new release information. 

9.4. DCA will not sell or share members’ personal information with any third parties, except to the extent necessary to deliver products or information to members, for example mailing houses and delivery contractors. Any third parties to whom such information is provided are instructed to delete or destroy these details immediately after use. DCA may also share personal information with its related companies, and as otherwise specified in its Privacy Policy available at www.chandon.com.au/Legal/Privacy-Policy. 

9.5. Members may opt out of receiving e-communications from DCA at any time by sending an opt out request by email to club@domainechandon.com.au, or use the unsubscribe facilities including in our marketing communications.

9.6. DCA will retain member credit card details in a secure environment in accordance with its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at www.chandon.com.au/Legal/Privacy-Policy.

10. Conditions Subject to Change

10.1. DCA may at any time and at its sole discretion change these Terms and Conditions. The most updated Terms and Conditions will be found on www.chandon.com.au/clubterms. A continued membership following any such changes constitutes acceptance of the most updated Terms & Conditions.

5. Club Payment
