SUSAN CAUDRY
Beginning her career in fashion at Vogue Australia, good taste has always been on Susan’s radar. In 2003, she moved into the wine industry and joined Moët Hennessy as the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Domaine Chandon Australia, Cloudy Bay and Cape Mentelle.
After taking another big step up and leading the Chandon Australia winery for six years, Susan made the trip to Chandon, California, where she was also Estate Director from 2016 until 2020. Now, Susan has rejoined the Chandon Australia team as Estate Director.
Susan remains genuinely inspired by the pioneering spirit of the winery’s founders, fostering that same courage and commitment as she and the team write this next chapter of Chandon Australia.

DAN BUCKLE
It might not be that surprising that Dan wound up in the wine industry. With his father owning his own vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula, Dan planted, pruned and picked throughout his teenage years, and beyond.
After jumping into the restaurant and bar world, Dan then studied for a Bachelor of Applied Science in Wine. It’s a tale of wanderlust from there, moving between vintages in Bordeaux, Burgundy and Champagne, and years spent at Coldstream Hills, Yering Station and Mount Langi Ghiran.
Dan is Viticulture & Winemaking Director at Chandon Australia, where he steers the style of the winery’s méthode traditionnelle sparkling wines.
Sip on a Chandon wine, guided by Dan’s meticulous hand, and expect distinctive Chandon charisma, with a serve of the unexpected on the side.

LOÏC LE CALVEZ
Not many people are as passionate about sparkling wine as Loïc Le Calvez.
French-born Loïc graduated in Oenology in Bordeaux before gaining experience around the world, from Sauternes, Bordeaux, to Sonoma in California, before the Australian landscape came to steal his heart. It was here he came to specialise in sparkling wine, perfecting his skill and expertise at Taltarni, as well as Clover Hill and Delamere wineries in Tasmania. Loïc joined the Chandon Australia Team in 2023, playing an instrumental role in Chandon’s focus on quality and sophisticated wine style.
A highly trained palate, Loïc is in demand as a wine show judge and sparkling wine specialist.
