We're well versed in the art of blending at CHANDON. Our winemakers meticulously blend varieties, vineyards and vintages to craft exceptional sparkling wine, skilfully combining complementary characteristics to achieve complexity and balance.

In collaboration with our friends at Light & Glo, an award-winning Melbourne fragrance house, we applied those blending skills in a custom perfume workshop. Hosted for our Club CHANDON members in the CHANDON Riddling Hall, our Senior Winemaker Loïc Le Calvez introduced the art of blending with a tasting of our Garden Spritz sparkling cockail. Guests explored the natural ingredients in their raw format, and learned how to carefully balanced aromas and flavours create the perfect orange bitters.

Guests then had an oppoortunity to get hands-on, guided by experts to handcraft their own bespoke perfume while indulging in some of our most aromatic sparkling wines. Delicately combining top, middle and base notes, guests finished with a completed bottle of their personal scent, and some new friends they met along the way.
